Tag:

Monthly average dataset of global atmospheric carbon dioxide and methane column concentrations (dry air volume mixing ratio XCO2, XCH4) (2010-2021). The dataset is derived from the third level product of the Japanese greenhouse gas satellite "Breath" GOSAT, which is a spatially continuous product after spatiotemporal continuous reconstruction. The dataset includes four attributes: time, longitude, latitude and vertical column concentration. The spatial resolution is 2.5 ° × 2.5 °, the time resolution is month.

The spatial continuous dataset of monthly average vertical column concentration distribution of global atmospheric carbon dioxide and methane (2010-2021) was processed by the Department of Remote Sensing Science and Technology of Instrument Science and Optoelectronic Engineering of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics from 2021-2022 based on Japanese GOSAT satellite L3 products. Satellite remote sensing is an important tool for inventory of global carbon emissions and atmospheric background greenhouse gas concentration monitoring, but the existing L3 data products provided by GOSAT officials are estimated by L2 data products through spatial statistical methods (Kriging interpolation). Due to the lack of original observation data in a large area, the interpolation error is too large, which is eliminated by the official, forming a data blank area. In order to make up for the shortage of missing data, this study reconstructed the missing data based on empirical orthogonal function (EOF) algorithm, and obtained a spatial continuous data set. After extensive verification of ground-based data, the reconstructed data has high accuracy, which can meet the application requirements. The monthly average dataset of global atmospheric carbon dioxide and methane column concentrations (dry air volume mixing ratio XCO2, XCH4) (2010-2021)is derived from the third level product of the Japanese greenhouse gas satellite "Breath" GOSAT, which is a spatially continuous product after spatiotemporal continuous reconstruction.
