This data set is a high-resolution spatial distribution map of basic soil physical and chemical attributes nationwide, including pH (H2O) value, organic carbon content, organic carbon density, cation exchange capacity, total nitrogen content, total nitrogen density, total phosphorus content, total phosphorus density, total potassium content, total potassium density, unit weight, gravel content (>2mm), sand, silt, clay, soil texture type, soil thickness, etc. The horizontal spatial resolution is 90m. In addition, the resolution of 250m and 1000m are also resampled to serve different application needs; The vertical direction includes six soil depths: 0-5, 5-15, 15-30, 30-60, 60-100, 100-200cm. This data set is based on the soil profile sample points obtained in the recent years "China's soil series survey and compilation project of China's soil series", adopts the predictive soil mapping paradigm, uses geographic information and remote sensing technology to finely depict and spatial analyze the soil forming environmental conditions, develops adaptive depth function fitting methods, and integrates advanced collective machine learning methods, A series of high-resolution 3D digital maps of soil attributes and their uncertainty distributions in China were generated. Compared with existing soil maps and relevant soil data sets, it has significantly improved the accuracy and precision, better characterized the spatial variability of soil attributes in China, and can be widely used in soil, agriculture, ecology, hydrology, climate, environment and other disciplines. It is also an important contribution to the "Global Soil Mapping Science Program" (GlobalSoilMap. net)

The basic data mainly comes from two sources: the survey data of more than 5000 soil profiles covering the whole country obtained under the national basic work special project "Soil Series Survey of China and Preparation of China's Soil Series" (2008FY110600 and 2014FY110200, project implementation period 2009-2019, field survey time 2010-2018); Quantitative characterization and characterization data of soil forming environmental conditions.
