The Belt and Road (abbreviated as B&R) is the abbreviation of the "Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road". This dataset is the socio-economic data of 65 countries along the "the Belt and Road" from 2000 to 2015, including more than 50 indicators such as land area, total population, population density, population growth rate, GDP, land area, and agricultural added value. The data is compiled according to the the Belt and Road National Statistical Yearbook edited by Zhang Ye and published by China Statistics Press in 2017.
