This data is mainly based on ENVISAT MERIS&Sentinel-3 OLCI surface reflectance/vegetation index products, MODIS surface coverage products (MCD12Q1) and the global 500 meter monthly composite vegetation aggregation index products produced by MODIS in this project. It is calculated by algorithm.
